Museum Of Ice Cream

California United States

As soon I saw the first wave of Museum of Ice Cream photography make its appearance on Instagram, I wanted in. After discussing it with my friend, we made the decision to try to get tickets the next they went on sale. This day came and it was a lot more hectic than I could have ever imagined. Tickets were selling out so fast that I couldn’t even keep them in my cart! Luckily, I was able to snag 2 tickets for a Saturday afternoon. Victory!

The day of my reservation came and we arrived early for our slot. The Museum of Ice Cream is located in Downtown Los Angeles. We waited in a short line and our tickets were scanned. Whoever purchased the tickets must show their I.D. They let people in by groups of about 10-12 people it seemed. Again, this is all in accordance to what time slot your ticket is for. Upon entrance, a man explains the rules (no touching, etc) and lets us know there are tons of rooms inside for various ice cream flavors and themes.

I have to say that I had no idea what to expect but I am sucker for a cute Instagram photos with my best friends. The Museum of Ice Cream is more than an Instagram backdrop, it was pure fun! Despite your age or love of ice cream, I can almost guarantee you will have fun with the awesome backdrops and cute props. Not to mention, you are given free samples of candy and ice cream in almost every room you walk into! I cannot forget the RAINBOW SPRINKLE POOL! It is just what you imagine but ten times better because it is real! I am still finding sprinkles in my clothes from that day!

My best friend Courtney and I had so much fun posing in front of all the different backdrops. Seriously, I felt like a kid in a candy store. The art was exceptional and it was great to see stunning creations. You just can’t help but smile when greeted with pink walls and giant gummy bear statues. Now, if you love ice cream and/or candy, this is the place for you. I was able to try so many complimentary samples! When you first walk in, you are offered all you can eat Dove chocolate pieces. Seriously, you just grab as many as you want! There was cotton candy, gummy bears, ice cream, mochi balls, pancake ice cream sandwiches, and edible cookie dough!

As of June 2017, the Museum of Ice Cream has completely sold out of tickets through August 2017. I would recommend keeping an eye on their Instagram and Facebook page to alert you for the next ticket sale! I hope you can visit before they move onto the next city!
