Our Full Time RVing Experience

Canada United States

My husband and I fell in love with the concept of RVing a few years back. To be completely disconnected and to have the ability to go anywhere, seemed like the epitome of freedom. So we bought our first rig (a Coachman Freelander Micro 20cb) early last year. Boy, is it a champ! We managed to visit 22 states in only 8 months of full-timing in “Monte” (our rig’s name). It took us through tight mountain passes, dirt roads to who-knows-where, boiling hot to freezing cold temperatures, thunderstorms, and bright sunny days.

To make a long story short, it was the best experience of our lives! Living simply in a 23 foot house on wheels gave us the ability to see so many incredible sights: the National Parks, the Pacific Highway, Route 66, Banff. It really showed us that there are so many beautiful things that are meant to be enjoyed in this life. You just have to make the effort to go see them!

Along our journey, we made connections with RVshare, a company who’s sole purpose is to allow people to experience what we did. Peer-to-peer RV rentals allow you to “try before you buy” so you can find out if RVing is for you too!
