Food In Italy: Part 1

Europe Italy

We chose Italy as our first European destination because of the food. We both love pizza and pasta. I personally love Parmesan cheese. I knew I had to visit Italy. We ate a lot of pizza. Also, cornettos. We ate a lot of those. In fact, I think I ate a cornetto everyday for breakfast. Fine, I ate 2 cornettos everyday for breakfast.

Straight off the plane and to the closest pizza restaurant in Rome
I wasn’t lying about eating 2 cornettos each morning
McDonalds in Rome sells blocks of Parmigiano-Reggiano as a snack so obviously that is what I ordered
There are lots of small pizza shops in Rome that allow you to choose your slice
If I try hard enough, I can still taste these cherry tomatoes
Custom Magnum bars in Florence
These potatoes were covered in the most delicious olive oil I have ever had
Most of our meals consisted of pasta, bowls of Parmesan cheese, Coke and beer
Bolognese pasta in Bologna; the best meal I have ever had in my life
Venice is known for their seafood
