Estonia, Europe

My Time in Tallinn

Estonia Europe

Last summer, my friends and I decided to go to Eesti (Estonia). We always travel together to other countries because it’s our passion. The first city, which we knew, was Parnu. It’s the summer capital of Estonia. We walked around the seafront promenade and we enjoyed coffee. After our time in Parnu, we returned to the road to Tallinn. Late in the evening, we arrived at the hotel Dzingel. I highly recommend it to you if you want to spend money on nice and reliable conditions. The rest of the trip was spent in Tallinn.

We visited old town and the surrounding areas. There are a lot of tourist attractions, for example, “Three Sister,” St. Olaf church, St. Nicholas church, Toompea hill, Toompea castle, and Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Toompea Hill is the oldest part of Tallinn, It is called the upper city. From there, we could see the beautiful panorama of the city. From the hill, we went back to the Town Hall and spent some free time here. I think we used our time in Tallinn wisely – a little sightseeing, a little shopping and of course, we enjoyed pubs and restaurants. I must share with you a wonderful restaurant. In my opinion, it’s unusual. We visited “Balthasar.” It located in the building above the pharmacy. Everything is garlic there- from ice cream to soup to vodka. Passage “Linnahall” is worth a visit too. It is neglected a lot but it has its own charm and character.
